What do you really get from playing Second Life? Why would I spend a crapload of money to have a virtual land?

Or is the "money" that you pay to own land and the stuff that you buy just virtual money? And where do you find the time to play if you actually have a life away from your computer screen?

  1. The clue's in the name Second Life. Players obviously aren't happy with there first ones and never will be as they're too busy playing weird computer games.
  2. People get a new life, and a form of "social interaction".
  3. Some people have no real life
